Catherine Seidel was first introduced to the Process as a grad student in 1991, and has been involved ever since. She is a licensed MFT who started her work in a community clinic then began private practice in 1996. Her training spans from years of psychodynamic gestalt training to somatic trauma therapies, to Level 3 training in the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT). She practices PACT therapy in her private practice and sometimes coaches PACT trainings. In her individual therapy she applies the principles of secure functioning and draws from the psychodynamic basis of the Process. She was fortunate to be in one of Allan Schore’s study groups. She has written articles about using horses in therapy for couples’ attunement training.  Catherine has taught music, trained horses, and best of all, raised children. As a therapist she aspires to be a steadfast, strategic, empathetic and wise collaborator.
